Child Safety

The Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) created the Best for Kids™ program to help consumers easily identify window covering products that are safe for homes and facilities where young children are present.

To earn this certification, qualifying products must meet strict safety standards and be verified by an independent, WCMA-recognized testing laboratory.

Eligible products include manual cordless and motorized shading systems that contain no cords whatsoever, eliminating the risk of hazardous loops or wrap-around dangers.

With cordless and motorized shades, safety comes standard — and with Best for Kids™ certification, you can be absolutely confident in your choice.

Designed with Child Safety in Mind

All Inpro WT® manual clutch shading systems meet ANSI and WCMA safety guidelines and ship with a Child Safety Tension Device and required safety labels to help reduce risks posed by exposed cords.

Quick & Easy Installation

Each Child Safety Tension Device includes inside and outside mount brackets, two screws, and clear instructions to ensure safe operation.
